All Officers Hired Must

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED
  • Undergo a complete background check
  • Successfully pass a comprehensive physical and drug test
  • Possess a valid Firearms Owner Identification Card (FOID), if applicable
  • Qualify for an Agency Firearm Control Card (FCC), if applying for an Armed position
  • Valid PERC card
